Every Bite of Food Matters project with reference number 2023-1-LV02-KA152-YOU-000114359 was realized. We sent a total of 9 participants to the project held in Riga, Latvia between 12.02.2024-19.02.2024.

The project emphasizes that food waste has environmental, economic and social impacts. When people waste food they can eat, they also waste the natural and human resources used to grow, produce, process and transport this food. This serious problem needs to be taken into account by people. The aim of the project is to show that wasted food harms the environment by contributing to global warming and climate change when food waste is added to landfills and produces the greenhouse gas methane.

In this project, which was very enjoyable, various activities were organized for the participants, including the Find out who I am game, Brief information about food waste, Steps to Save Food, Getting Lost in Colors, Examination of examples related to waste, Exhibitions about food waste.

In these activities, which were very entertaining, there was also information about what erasmus plus and Youtpass are. This project not only entertained people but also helped the participants to adopt the project topic in a good way and raise awareness.

If we talk about our personal experiences, we had a pleasant time and learned the right information in the right way in the project, which we welcomed in a very nice way. From here, we convey our thanks to our association that realized the project.

The project poster and a few photos from the project are below.
